What the video covers
Written in our own words. It only describes what the video shows and says. This New York Post report from 2 November 2026 is about the crash of a Learjet 60 in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday 1 November. The aircraft, registered N722BD, was on its way to the Bahamas with nine people on board. All nine were killed. The report names the co-pilot as Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20. The presenter says the Post confirmed her identity.
The crash in Palm Beach County
The presenter says the jet was caught on dashcam video as it came down near a mobile home park in South Florida. According to the report, the aircraft was descending at around 20,000 feet per minute before it hit the ground. The video shows the burning crater left at the crash site. Near the end of the report the presenter says Palm Beach County Fire Rescue described the crash as a mass casualty incident. The report also says that at the time of recording the authorities had not yet identified the people on board. They had only confirmed that nine people were killed.
Air traffic control audio
The report plays parts of the radio exchange between the crew and the Miami Air Route Traffic Control Center. Using the callsign 722BD, the crew calls "mayday, mayday" and reports a descent of 10,000 feet per minute. In a following call the crew declares an emergency and reports an overspeed condition while descending at 20,000 feet per minute. The controller acknowledges each call, leaves the altitude at the crew's discretion and asks what they need. A later call reports a descent through 22,000 feet with the aircraft banking. After the last transmission the controller keeps calling the aircraft without getting a reply.
The co-pilot
The New York Post says Filgueiras was the co-pilot on the flight and that she was 20 years old. The second half of the video looks back at her flight training, partly through a 2023 interview with the local television station CBS12. The video does not name anyone else who was on board. The cause of the crash is not discussed in the video.
