The total duration is approximately 3 hours, which includes a general briefing and identity check, six tests, one questionnaire, and two short breaks. You must follow a mandatory sequence of tests. Note paper is provided for Math & Science and for Aeronautics, but not for any other test. The skills tests are English, Math & Science, and Aeronautics.
The aptitude tests include Working Memory, which calls for choice reactions that follow four basic rules and require dealing with visual as well as acoustical information. Spatial Orientation involves visualising objects or positions in two or three dimensions, and for pilots this contributes to the interpretation of maps or the understanding of one's own position relative to an aerodrome. Time Sharing calls for the management and coordination of three tasks, processing visual as well as acoustical information, solving numerical problems, and monitoring instruments in the periphery. Finally, the Self Description questionnaire asks you to agree or disagree to 100 statements about yourself.
