About Transavia
Based in the Netherlands, Transavia is a low-cost and leisure airline. In timetables it appears as HV; in flight plans as TRA. Pilots at Transavia fly types such as the Airbus A321neo and Boeing 737-800. The operation is built around Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS), Eindhoven (EIN), Rotterdam The Hague (RTM) and Brussels (BRU). Transavia is part of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, which has its own page on this site. Within the group you will also find Transavia Airline Pilot Program, which has its own page on this site.
For future pilots, Transavia offers the Transavia Airline Pilot Program (MPL). The programme lists EPST (selection partner) as its partner. As of 12 October 2026, the programme was listed as closed to new applications. Licensed pilots can also join Transavia as direct-entry first officers. The link to the pilot careers portal is in the profile on this page. The requirements listed on this page cover education, age, language, right to work and medical certificate. The selection is described stage by stage on this page.
